Community focus. Family feel.

John and Denice DiCarlo are the proud owners of Southwood Bar and want to carry on and expand upon what former owners Dottie and Rich built for over 50 years. John is a lifelong West Deptford resident. Denice, originally from Vineland, has lived in West Deptford for 25 years.

Both are actively involved in the West Deptford Community. John formerly served as the President of West Deptford Soccer for 22 years as well as the West Deptford Recreation Advisory Committee. Denice is a former member of the West Deptford School Board and the West Deptford Township Committee where she held the position of Mayor of the township. She currently serves as a Gloucester County Commissioner.

Southwood Bar has a proud tradition and John and Denice fully intend to carry on that neighborhood bar feel by offering friendly service and great food and drink!
